Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers or toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves. Drain the mozzarella balls.
  2. Thread one cherry tomato, one basil leaf, and one mozzarella ball onto each skewer. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until reduced by half, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter. Drizzle with the cooled balsamic glaze.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
